Widening Circle
of Resilience and Connection

“Dear Mother [Earth], it is my deepest wish to wake up to the miracle of life. […] FOR US TO SURVIVE, both as individuals and as a species, we need a revolution of consciousness. It can start with our collective awakening. Looking deeply, with mindfulness and concentration, we can see that we are the Earth and, with this insight, love and understanding will be born.”

Living into the Great Turning

Our world as we knew it, is falling apart. Natural disasters, social unrest, refugee crises, emotional despair and pandemics – and yet the machine of capitalism, war and destruction is grinding on relentlessly. If we dare to look closely, we know that many of our systems are collapsing. In these times, we can choose to turn to face what is happening, to feel with the world and to choose a path of thriving life. We need many new skills, new ways of thinking and strengthened emotional capacities. As I am leaning into the Great Turning and shifting my consciousness away from ego-driven ways into a more compassionate and accepting way of being with all life, I continue to gather skills that I am here to share:

From growing our own food in an ongoing adaptation to a changing climate, to mindfulness practices that bring inner peace, equanimity and deepened compassion, to expanding my intuitive capacities; facilitating the Work That Reconnects; permaculture design; systems thinking; disaster preparedness and the gentle use of herbal medicine.

I invite you to join me on this journey of strengthening ourselves to become more resilient and adaptable so that we may continue to show up with love and compassion for our human and more-than-human kin.

"The most radical thing any of us can do at this time is to be fully present to what is happening in the world."
